| Khurshid expresses displeasure over slow pace of progress on stadium | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Jun 15: Director Local Bodies Khurshid Ahmed Bhatt, who is currently on an inspection visit of erstwhile Doda district, has expressed his dissatisfaction over the slow pace of progress on sports stadium being developed by Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation at Kotli.
Bhat during his visit inspected the ongoing works at Batote, Doda city, Kishtwar, Ramban and other areas and impressed upon the executing agencies as also the contractors to complete all the ongoing works within the fixed time frame so that the benefits start percolating to the people as the grass roots level.
At Bhaderwah he inspected ongoing work of bus stand at Kotli and the sports stadium and expressed dissatisfaction over slow pace of work in college stadium.
He also chaired a meeting of councilors, officers and prominent citizens and called for proper monitoring of the schemes taken up in the area. However, he made it clear that there would be no compromise with the quality of work.
