| FM chairs select committee | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Jun 15: The meeting of the Select Committee constituted by the government to discuss and propose amendments in the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment Bill,2009, was convened here today. Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather presided.
Threadbare discussions were held on various points incorporated in the Bill. The Members gave their valuable suggestions and highlighted certain issues which needed to be included in the Bill.
Legislators, Chaman Lal Gupta, Mohammad Yousuf Taing, Ashok Kumar, Choudhary Zulfikar Ali, Abdul Gani Vakil, R.S.Chib and Mohammad Rashid Qureshi attended the meeting as members of the Committee.
Principal Secretary, Law, Akhtar Hussain Kochak and Secretary, Legislative Assembly, Mohammad Ramzan besides other senior officers also participated in the meeting.
It was decided that the next and final meeting of the Committee would be held on July 6.
