| Registration of senior, junior, sub-junior Kabaddi players till 31st July | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 15: According to Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association all players will be registered before 31st July whereas application for fresh, renewal and change will be entertained from 1st April to 30th June. President Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta said that decision of Ammature Kabaddi Federation of India had made it mandatory for all the players to get registered with state association as those players either male of female who will not be registered will not be allowed to play in District/ North Zone, All India Tournament, sub-junior, junior and senior Nationals, Beach and Circle styles. He informed that circular in this regard has been already forwarded to affiliated units/ departments.
The eligibility for senior in National is maximum weight for men below 80 KGs and 60 KGs for women, in Junior National weight of boys should be below 60 KGs and age below 19 years whereas for girls weight should be below 50 KGs and age below 17 years and for sub-junior National Kabaddi Championship age of boys should be below 16years and weight should be below 51 KGs and weight of girls should be less than 45 Kgs and age below than 45 KGs. Players are advised that age proof and original marks sheet should produced at the time of Selection-Cum-Trail to be conducted prior the commencement of Nationals. The random dope test will also be conducted during the National Kabaddi Championships.
