| Akhnoor trader found dead inside shop | | | Early Times Report
Akhnoor, June 15: A forty five year old shopkeeper was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside his egg-shop, here this morning.
Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Surya Prakash son of Mela Ram (45) resident of Krangi village was running an egg and chicken corner in Akhnoor market from the last so many years.
“Yesterday Prakash did not reach home and when the family members went to police station to lodge missing report on way they heard noise of Air cooler from inside the shop” sources added.
They break the lock and found Prakash in pool of blood following which police reached the spot and took the body into the custody.
Unconfirmed sources said that a group of goons came to the shop of Prakash last night and after verbal clash over some old rivalry they killed him and closed the shop before they ran away.
Police has registered a murder case in this regard and taken up the investigations into the matter, however no one has been arrested so far. The body after completing all formalities was handed over to the family for last rights
