| ReT threaten to strike | | | Early Times Report Jammu,June 15: Rehbr-e-Taleem teachers have threaten to strike if their demands will not meet till 20 June,the decision was taken by them in a meeting held here at Mandi Dak Banglow,Poonch today.In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Shamim-ul-Hassan it was said that government is dragging its feet from the assurance they made that the ReT will be regularized in the month of August but till date no decision has been taken in this regard.They said that initially they were told that they will be regularized by January of this year but after sometime they were told that they will be regularized by August. They said that if their demands will not meet they will do pen down strike from 20 June. They also demanded 5 years benefits assured to them by the government. Pertinent to mention here that about 12000 Rehber-e-Taleem teachers have been engaged by the government in different institutions to cope up with the laxities of permanent teachers.
