| Fruit growers deputation led by Horticulture Minister meets Azad | | |
Srinagar, September 25 –Chief Minister today received a deputation of Fruit Growers led by Minister for Horticulture Mr. Mohammad Dilawar Mir here this afternoon. The deputation apprised the Chief Minister of various matters pertaining to the development of horticulture, its marketing, transportation, availability of trucks and other related issues.
Chief Minister gave patient hearing to the demands put forth by the deputation and assured that government would take appropriate action to strengthen the fruit industry and ameliorate the lot of people associated with horticulture.
Among others Chief Secretary Mr. C. Phonsog, Director General of Police Mr. Gopal Sharma, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Anil Goswami, Principal Secretary Horticulture Mr. B. R. Kundal, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Mr. Basharat Ahmad and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
