| Warm send off to Pak Hindu pilgrims | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 15: Contingents of over 100 Pakistani Hindus including women and children currently on visit to various religious places in India were given warm send off by the people of Jammu at Phalwan food mall, Bari Brahmana here today. The visitors who were on a week long visit to city of temples visited world famous shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi and paid their absences there. The visitors were highly impressed by the hospitality shown by the people of Jammu both at Shrine, and at Jammu Yatri Bhawan trust. Yatries after having sumptuous lunch at Phalwan mall were presented with gifts of books on Hindu religion, religious literature, scriptures, cassettes of devotional songs and famous kashmiri schools etc. Before leaving for holy city of Haridwar for holy dip in river Gangas and to perform other religious functions leader of the party, Engineer Kumar said, that the misgiving prevalent among the people of India including Jammu people that Hindus in Pakistan have a sense of insecurity and can’t follow their religion and ceremonies freely is not correct. He said there is no restriction even Hindus have set up number of temple and Hindu welfare organizations in said province and practice all religious function freely.
