JAMMU, Aug 31: The Eco-Club and NSS Wing of Government Degree College, Bishnah, Jammu, under the patronage of Principal, Dr. Shallu Samyal, in collaboration with Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi, under the banner of NMBA, celebrated Prakriti Vandan Divas with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members.
The program was observed to emphasize the need to revive and restore India's age-old traditional culture of reverence, love and respect for nature, wherein rivers, forests, mountains, plants, animals and other elements of the natural world have traditionally been regarded with deep respect and gratitude.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Geeta Lakhotra, NSS Coordinator, and Dr. Koshal Kiran Thacker, NMBA Coordinator. Members of the Eco-Club, including Prof. Nisha and Dr. Sonika Khajuria, also contributed to the successful conduct of the event. |
