| Workshop on 'Career Development in World of AI' held | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, Aug 31: School of Management Studies, University of Jammu Bhaderwah Campus organised an insightful workshop on "Career Development in the World of AI".
The event was held in collaboration with 'The Future Foundation' to equip students with an understanding of the rapidly changing career landscape and the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly AI-driven world.
The programme was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar Bhutyal as the chief guest. Head of School of Management Studies Dr. Umesh Choudhary and faculty members of the School were also present.
The workshop was hosted by PhD Scholar Rohit Singh Katal, while Senior Product Manager - People Technology & Experience, PwC Middle East Asim Aftab was the principal facilitator.
The chief guest appreciated organizers for hosting the workshop and providing students with meaningful exposure to contemporary developments in technology and the professional world. He particularly lauded the Foundation's efforts to bring relevant and future-oriented learning opportunities to students in Bhaderwah. Dr. Umesh Choudhary highlighted the importance of exposing students to emerging technologies, industry perspectives and practical knowledge beyond the conventional academic curriculum. He said such initiatives play an important role in helping students understand the evolving demands of the employment market. Drawing upon his extensive professional experience, Asim Aftab engaged students in an interactive and informative session covering emerging career opportunities, changing skill requirements, effective use of Artificial Intelligence and strategies for developing capabilities to enhance career prospects.
The interactive session provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with the facilitator; assess their existing skill sets and explore new competencies that can help them build successful careers in the age of Artificial Intelligence. The discussions witnessed enthusiastic participation and generated considerable interest among the students. |
