| Sunny Gupta takes charge as Sr. Superintendent of Police Kishtwar | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Aug 31: Sunny Gupta-IPS today assumed charge as the Sr. Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar. He was warmly received at the District Police Headquarters by Addl. SP Kishtwar Sh. Pardeep Singh Goria-JKPS, Addl. SP PC Kishtwar Sh. Nisar Khoja-JKPS and other officer of the district.
Soon after assuming charge, SSP Kishtwar held an introductory meeting with the officers of the Police District and took an overview of the prevailing law and order, security and policing situation in the district.
Addressing the officers, SSP Kishtwar emphasized the importance of dedication, professionalism, discipline and enthusiasm in discharging their duties. He stressed that the primary objective of the Police should remain the safety, security and welfare of the people.
He called for greater teamwork, coordination and effective communication among all ranks and directed officers to remain accessible and responsive to the public. He emphasized that the doors of every police office should remain open for the general public so that their genuine concerns and grievances are addressed promptly.
The SSP Kishtwar expressed his commitment towards strengthening public-police relations, improving policing standards and ensuring a safe and secure environment for the people of Kishtwar through collaborative and community-oriented policing. |
