| Omar-led Govt giving priority to youth empowerment, says RL Gupta | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 31: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Jammu, Adv. Rattan Lal Gupta, said that the Omar Abdullah-led Government is giving top priority to the empowerment and welfare of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and is making sincere efforts to address their burning issues, particularly unemployment. Addressing the gathering on the occasion of opening the YNC Office in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized by S. Tejinder Pal Singh Provincial President Jammu YNC his provincial team and other YNC functionaries in presence of Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Provincial Secretary Jammu, Bimla Luthra former MLA, Bushan Lal Bhat former MLC, Vijay Lochan Chairman SC Cell, Pardeep Bali Provincial Secretary Jammu, Ankush Abrol Joint Secretary Jammu Province, Rakesh Singh Raka, Dilshad Malik Vice Presidents Central Zone and Laxmi Datta Senior leader. Gupta said that the youth are the backbone of the nation and their aspirations, concerns and future cannot be ignored. He stressed that creating adequate employment opportunities, strengthening skill development, promoting entrepreneurship and providing a conducive environment for young people should remain among the foremost priorities of the Government. He said that the Omar-led Government is committed to creating new avenues for employment and self-employment and ensuring that the youth of J&K get opportunities to build a secure and dignified future. The Government has already started the Mission YUVA for the development and welfare of the Youth. The NC leader further said that the Government must continue to work with a focused approach to tackle unemployment and harness the energy, talent and potential of the younger generation for the overall development and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir. "Empowered youth mean a stronger Jammu and Kashmir and a stronger nation. The aspirations of our youth must be fulfilled through concrete policies, employment opportunities and inclusive development," Gupta said. Addressing the gathering Tejinder Pal Singh Aman assured the leadership that YNC shall work hard and laboriously to strengthen the party in Jammu province and fight for the cause of the Youth in J&K.
