Jammu, June 16: Tata teleservices limited, today announced the introduction of new Photon device (wireless broadband service) in J&K. Available at a competitive price of Rs 35000, Photon + can be combined with Photon Super Surf plan at a monthly rental of Rs. 1500 with bundled usage of 15 GB.
As per press release, Photon is a wireless devise that offers instant access to internet at any point in time for individual or business needs. The device comes with a Micro SD card slot which enables the user to customize it even as a thumb drive with expandable memory. User can carry all the data and at the same time surf as well through the devise. The sleek stylish and trendy new Photon device needs no drive CD as it has a self installation feature.
Tata Indicom’s photon + wireless broadband service is upto 10 times faster than existing mobile wireless technology.
“With the significant internet penetration in India, it is becoming crucial for telecom service providers to meet the increasing consumer expectations. The awareness and demand for wireless internet connectivity is increasing rapidly and with laptop and PC sales showing exponential growth there is a huge demand for wireless high speed internet service,” said Atul Kansal, Circle Operating Officer-J&K circle.
Photon wireless broadband service gives connectivity not only for mails, but also for downloads large files uploads, photo sharing etc. Its plug-n-play features allow Photon+ to be used in both desktops and laptops.
