Jammu, June 16: Security forces busted two militant hideouts and recovered a large quantity of ammunition and explosives in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, defence sources said here on Tuesday.
Acting on a specific information, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifle troops and police launched a search operation at Jalla Mang in Targain area of Budhal tehsil and recovered the arms cache yesterday, they said.
The recoveries included a powerful four kg IED, an explosive device, four hand grenades, 387 rounds of AK ammunition, 66 rounds of pika ammunition, 33 detonators, they said.
Another hideout was busted by the security forces in Kuth Gali forests of Thanamandi area yesterday where they recovered two hand grenades, three AK magazines, 147 rounds of AK ammunition, one pistol magazine, seven pistol rounds among other things.
