| Commissioner/Secretary IT visits CICs in Pulwama | | |
Srinagar, September 25 – Commissioner/Secretary Information Technology Mr. Lokesh Jha alongwith other senior officers visited various community information centers (CICs)of Pulwama district to take stock of their functioning.
The centres visited include Pampore, Kakapora and Pulwama. The team assessed the various services being offered by these centres to the people. They inspected video conference studio recently set up at Deputy Commissioner office complex at Pulwama, which is first one to have been completed in phase 2nd of the programme in the valley.
Later, in a meeting various aspects related to Information Technology were reviewed with District Development Commissioner, Pulwama and concerned officers and the penetration and related activities of IT with the help of NIC in the district were found to be satisfactory. |
