Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament 2026-2027 commences

JAMMU, Sept 7: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, today commenced the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament for the session 2026-2027 at the Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from men Kabaddi teams representing various affiliated colleges of the University of Jammu.
The opening day featured highly competitive matches, with the participating teams displaying excellent strength, agility, tactical skills, coordination, determination and sportsmanship. The players competed with great enthusiasm and fighting spirit, making the opening day of the tournament an exciting showcase of men's Kabaddi talent.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, whose guidance and leadership have significantly contributed to the promotion and development of sports activities among students of the affiliated colleges.

GDC Khour defeated GDC Thanamandi by 16 points (29-13).
GDC Paloura defeated GDC Majalta by 11 points (22-11).
GDC Poonch defeated GDC Billawar by 12 points (22-10).
GDC Kishtwar defeated GDC MBS College by 18 points (28-10).
GDC Kunjwani defeated GDC Kalakote by 4 points (29-25).
GDC Ramban defeated GCET Jammu by 1 point (23-22).
GDC Ramnagar defeated GDC Ramgarh by 13 points (23-10).
GDC Marheen defeated GDC Batote by 5 points (36-31).
GDC Vijaypur defeated GDC Purmandal by 9 points (31-22).
GDC Udhampur defeated GDC Bishnah by 16 points (24-08).
MIER College defeated GDC Ukhral by 11 points (17-06).
GDC Doda defeated GDC Basholi by 10 points (20-10).
GDC Rajouri defeated Dogra Degree College by 16 points (32-16).
GDC Gaghwal defeated Dogra Law College by 3 points (33-30).
