| Start of Billiards, Snooker meet delayed | | |

SRINAGAR, June 16: Due to drain blockade and water logging inside the Bakshi Stadium, the start of Srinagar District Billiards and Snooker Championships has been delayed.
“The boys were unable to reach the Billiards Hall at Bakshi Stadium because of water logging due to drain blockade. It left us with no other option but to postpone the event,” said joint secretary of J&K Billiards and Snooker Association, Umar Humanyu.
He added that it would take State Sports Council a couple of days to set the things in order. “As soon as the things are in place, we shall start the competition with junior snooker event,” informed the joint secretary.
