| Militants bleed two civilians to death in Rajouri | | | Jammu,July 16: Militants slit the throats of two civilians in the border district of Rajouri in the wee hours of Sunday morning sending a shock wave in the entire area.
According to reports, a group of militants arrived in the village Hill tak in Darhal around midnight and slit the throats of Mohammad Shafi and his neighbour Mohammad Nawaz. After killing these two civilians militants flee the area.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
Sources in the police said, Shafi and Nawaz were targeted by the militants on the pretext that they were working as informers for the security forces. Massive manhunt has been launched in the area by joint patrol following inputs that movement of militants have been spotted in the area.
