 MATHURA, Sept 15: Railway to build a road over bridge on Mathura Achnera Railway line on Parkham Ole road, Mathura, MP, Hema Malini said.
In a letter addressing Mathura MP Hema Malini, Railway, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw conveyed the decision to construct a rail overbridge on Kilometre 372/6-7 of the Mathura Achnera Rail block.
Recognising the need for an overbridge for smooth vehicular movement on the road, actor-turned-politician Hema Malini wrote a letter on 29 September last year to the Railway Minister, requesting him to approve the construction of an overbridge on the existing railway crossing on Parkham Ole road.
The road is part of an alternative passage connecting National Highway 19 from Farah to Kosi Kalan via Jajampatti, Sonkh and Goverdhan. When completed, it will significantly reduce the travel time and will decongest National Highway 19, Hema Malini said.
The road also connects Bharatpur via Jajampatti. The overbridge, once completed, will directly benefit nearly 2 dozen nearby villages. |
