| Rs.15 cr spent on development schemes in Kargil | | |
Srinagar, September 25 – About Rs.15.00 crore have been spent on various development schemes in Kargil district by ending August of current fiscal.
This was stated in a meeting of district officers held at kargil yesterday under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC, Kargil Haji Asgar Ali Karbalie.
While addressing the meeting, Mr. Karbalie stressed upon the officers to gear up their subordinate functionaries and ensure strict implementation of the entire development programmes with sincerity and devotion. He also directed the officers of engineering sectors to make proper utilization of funds.
Referring to the stocking of materials like cement essential commodities and other building materials etc, Mr. Karbalie directed the concerned authorities to ensure stocking of these materials up to October 16, 2006.
Several executive councilors and District Development Commissioner, Kargil attended the meeting. |
