Vijaypur, June 17: Th. Hari Singh, vice president of Pradesh Congress committee in an extensive tour of Vijaypur block found that people are facing acute shortage of drinking water, and the worst suffer in Bandi village.
Addressing the workers, he urged upon the PHE authorities to press into service more and more water tankers for Kandi belt villages to coup with the drinking water problem. He also urged upon the minister for water and irrigation for survey of Kandi belt which should be exercised for bore tube wells to fulfill the drinking water problem of this kandi belt.
Prominent among those were Dr. Chajju Ram, Rekhi Singh, Anil Jamwal, Dr. Gurdas, Doja Ram, Ghulam Rasool, Bodh Raj, Paras Ram, Hari Chand and others.
