Early Times Report Rajouri, June 17: The Special Operation Group of Police in Rajouri have busted a whopping militant hideout and recovered warlike ammunition stores. Sources said based on a tip off, an SOG team led by Deputy Superintend of Police Farooq Qesar Malik in association with 63RR launched search operation in Kenchi Morh forest areas under the jurisdiction of Police Station Dharamsal and made huge recoveries from the scattered spots. The operation, being seen as a major success, was under the monitoring of DIG Rajouri-Poonch SDS Jamwal and under supervision of SSP Shafqat Wattali. Giving further details, sources said, the search team recovered one AK56, three magazines of AK series, 12 bore rifle and its rounds, UBL, RDX, wireless sets, Chinese made hand grenades, pouches, bags and Pakistani currency. The operation led by DySP Malik was still going on when the last reports came in. an FIR had been lodged and some arrested were expected overnight, sources added.
