| Javed for early completion of development projects | | | Srinagar, September 25 Work in double shift is apace on Chittergam- Satsoo and Chak pohru water supply schemes coming up at a cost. Of Rs. 6.62 crore of this, Rs. 3.51 crore have been incurred so far on these schemes which on completion will provide potable water supply facility to 37,400 souls of various areas in Chadoora constituency. This information was given to Minister of State for Rural Development and Science and Technology Mr. Javed Mustafa Mir during his extensive inspection of various development projects in Chadoora constituency. A team of senior officers including Chief Engineer PHE Mr. A.R. Baigh were accompanying the minister. The minister also inspected Bagander Lasjan water supply scheme which has been constructed at a cost of Rs.2.40 crore and provides drinking water to 22,000 souls of various villages. Mr. Javed stressed upon the executing agencies to ensure timely completion of various schemes so that their benefits reach to the people. He said work has been taken up in double- shift on several schemes for their early completion and judicious utilization of funds. |
