Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 19: Jammu (Rural) Police today organised a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Khour and Police Post Pallanwala, led by SP Rural Jammu, in the presence of SDPO Akhnoor and SHO Police Station Khour. The meeting was attended by prominent citizens, senior citizens, Panches, Sarpanches, Village Defence Guards (VDGs) and other respectable members of the local community. During the interaction, the participants raised various grievances and issues of public importance. The police officers gave a patient hearing to their concerns and assured that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities and addressed promptly. The meeting also focused on strengthening police-public coordination, maintaining peace and security, and enhancing community participation in prevention of crime and other unlawful activities. The police officers emphasized the important role of the local community in maintaining a safe, peaceful and secure environment and encouraged the participants to continue extending their cooperation to the police. The participants appreciated the initiative and assured their continued support to Jammu (Rural) Police. |
