BHADERWAH, Sept 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), Sub-Office Doda, organised a vibrant Folk Dance Programme at Bhaderwah on the eve of Mela Pat, the other day showcasing the rich folk traditions and cultural heritage of the region.
The programme was organised on the directions of Secretary JKAACL Harvinder Kour and under the supervision of Special Secretary JKAACL Sonali Arun Gupta. The event featured captivating performances by local artists, who presented the traditional Bhaderwahi Dekku Dance and Sarazi Kuda Dance, enthralling the audience and highlighting the diverse folk culture of the Chenab Valley. Cultural Officer JKAACL Doda Sub-Office Slah-ud-Din was the Programme In-charge and coordinated the proceedings of the event. |
