| Assistant Director took stock of food-grains in snow bound areas of Surankote | | |
Poonch, September 25 -In view of ensuing month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak, the Assistant Director of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Mr.Deep Raj alongwith TSO Mr. Chaman Lal and Storekeeper Mr. Abdul Majid Malik took stock of food-grains/sugar, kerosene and LPG cylinders in the remote and hilly areas of Chandimarh, Bufliaz, Draba and Surankote today. The team also met with migrants of Hill Kaka and listened their problems and assured to provide free of cost ration to 428 souls of 92 families besides kerosene oil and sugar etc.
They also inspected ration sale depots of Chandimarh, Bufliaz, Draba and Surankote and directed the officials to work with zeal and dedication so that the public may not suffer during Ramzan days. He directed them that the ration depots be kept open round the clock till all the rationees get their due share of ration.
Later, the Assistant Director also convened a meeting of officials at tehsil headquarter and issued them necessary instructions. |
