. She has done many Dogri plays on the national level.

How difficult was it to come to Mumbai from Jammu?
Yes, it was a bit difficult for coming from my hometown to a strange city. There were a few problems adjusting initially but things settled down with my family's support. My mom used to come along with me on the sets so there was not such trouble for me. Tell us more about yourself and your family?
I am a very simple girl with a simple family. Everybody is very supportive in whatever decisions I take, whether it’s my mom or dad or my sister. I am very thankful to them as my journey from Jammu to Mumbai was possible only because of my family.
How difficult was it to portray the character of “Rani”? Had you ever thought that you would play the lead in your first soap?
I auditioned for the part of Rani in my hometown Jammu. After a few days, I received a call from the writers of RKAB saying that I had got the part. Actually, I got the role because of the character sketch, it was a young, sweet character and I fitted into it. I had never thought that I would get this lead role, it just happened, it's all destiny.
Can you relate to your role in “Raja ki Aayagi Bharaat”?
Rani is a simple girl from a small place and somehow I am finding her very close to me. So I don't find it difficult to enact this character.
Before your relationship with Kapil, you always favoured arranged marriages... so, now things must have changed?
Yes, I still believe in arranged marriages, but with me and Kapil together the word has a different meaning now ... which is, love cum arranged.
What do you like most about Kapil ? One thing you want to change in him?
He is a realistic and never puts up any pretense. But, I want to change his aggressive attitude.
You also participated in Naach Baliya 4. How was the experience?
Yes, I did. The experience was fantastic, I really enjoyed it. Nach Baliye is one reality show which is very clean and I am lucky to be part of it. I really learnt a lot from it.
What are your future plans?
Right now “Raja ki Aayagi Bharaat” leaves me with no energy to think about anything else. Maybe once I am done with this show, I might think of films or any other option. But right now I am enjoying each and every moment of my success.
