| JKCA clarifies position | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 18: Aslam Goni Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association in his press conference said that upliftment of cricketers is the sole motive of JKCA and for the purpose a separate camp of the short listed boys under group of talent search started from 1st June 2009 under the over all supervision of Madan Mohan Sharma,a cricket coach assisted by Amarjeet Poli is going on at Hostel Ground, GGM Science College Jammu with refreshment being provided from time to time. Vinod Sharma, architect of the first Ranji Trophy is supervising potential cricketers. He also laid emphasis on school level regular tournament to explore the potentialities of budding cricketers. Refuting the news carried by some newspapers that women camps are not being conducted Sports Council Coach he said that women’s camp at hostel ground is being supervised by Naveen Sharma, Sports Council Cricket Coach assisted by Miss Rupali Salathia,a NIS and BCCI level one coach to the due satisfaction of all the participating women cricketers in the camp. Present on the occasion were Shambu Nath, Vice Chairman and Sudershan Mehta, Joint Secretary JKCA.
