| Rajouri District Cricket Tournament | | Sunderbani-A wins by 114 runs to enter QFs | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, June 18: Beating Super XI Budhal by a big margin of 114 runs in a one-sided contest, Sunderbani-A today entered the quarterfinals from Pool-C in the ongoing Rajouri District Cricket Tournament organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at Sports Stadium, here. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Sunderbani-A set a big target of 218 runs in the stipulated 30 overs. In reply, Super XI could not chase and the whole side bowled out at a score of 103 runs in 21.3 overs. Nikhil Sharma played fine innings of 68 (off 63 balls, 7x4, 2x6) while Kulvinder Dev and Rakesh Dingra contributed valuable 38 and 26 runs respectively. Surinder Kumar also played well adding 26 runs. From Super XI, Mohd Nisar and Jagjit Singh clinched three and one wicket respectively. Later, chasing the target, Super XI made a meek surrender and lost all their wickets for mere 103 runs in 21.3 overs. Asif Wani and Jagjit Singh were main scorers with 28 and 24 runs in their respective accounts. Surinder Kumar was most successful bowler from Sunderbani-A with three for 12 in three overs while Atul took two for seven. For his superb innings of 68 runs, Nikhil Sharma was declared man of the match. Vijay Kumar and Muzammil were umpires in today’s match while Alyas Wani and Anwar Choudhary maintained the score.
