| Satish memorial tourney at Hiranagar from June 20 | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, June 18: Organised by the Kathua District Cricket Committee under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), the Satish Memorial District Kathua Cricket Tournament shall start from June 20 at Sports Stadium, Hiranagar.
In the opening match, Shiv Shanker Cricket Club shall take on Kathua Blues Cricket Club at 10 am. Member Legislative Council, Subash Gupta has consented to be the chief guest in the opening function while Senior Superintendent of Police Kathua, Garib Dass shall be guest of honour.
Divided into four different groups, 36 teams are taking part in this competition to be played on knock-out basis. Spread over 20 days, the final of the tournament shall take place after July 10.
The participating teams in this event shall including those from far off places of Bani, Billawar and Basohli
