Kishtwar, June 19: District president Kishtwar all India Janta Party Secular Ajeet Bhagat has stressed upon the union power minister for getting started construction of Pakal Dul H.E. Project at Kishtwar. He said that this project will generate 10x20 MW of electricity.

Gupta for establishing Central University in Jammu.

Jammu, June 19: Leader of BJP Legislator party, Prof. Chaman lal Gupta has emphaise that as per the decision taken logn back the Central University should be established in Samba area near Jammu and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) should be set up in the Valley of Kashmir and as such the Congress should come out with the clear stand in this regard so as to expose those two senior leaders of the ruling party who had misled the central authorities in this regard at whose instance Prof. Hafiz Wahid had been entrusted the job of the proposed Central University to work for setting up this Central University at Srinagar instead of Jammu.
Gupta who called upon the state governor N.N. Vohra at Srinagar the other day felt that the governor is very clear that the decision taken long back should be implemented as had taken up the matter with the concerned authorities at the centre.
BJP leader has observed that as far as the National Conference is concerned, their intensions have been very clear from the day one. Their first love in the Valley and they have all along been treating Jammu as their colony. Even on the issue of this central university, the leadership of the National Conference is trying to get subverted the decision of the centre on the plea that this university should have two campus- one at Srinagar and the other in Jammu.
Lashing upon the Congress leadership, he alleged that the party which is in responsible for miseries and discrimination against Jammu but to hoodwink Jammunities, they had been loudly pleading for equal treatment to all regions but practically they have been perpetrating something else.
As far as the designs of the National Conference are concerned their anti Jammu intentions are very clear from the fact in which they had amended the State Constitution by putting an embargo for holding no delimitation of Assembly Constitutiencies in this state till 2026. He added and maintained that congress too, had been playing the second fiddle to such designs and any charge in the setting up of Central University from Jammu to Srinagar would have serious repercussions. He asserted that Jammu is the best suited place for this University where not only the people of this state but also from within and outside the country can study in a free and peaceful atmosphere which is essential for such studies.
