Mahant Manjit Singh of Shiromani Dera Shri Nangali Sahib Poonch along with Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Amritsar left for Switzerland on the invitation from Sikh Sangat of Switzerland, during the tour they will address religious functions in Switzerland.
According to press release both the Sikh religious personalities will preach Sikhism and teachings of Holy Guru Granth Sahib among the people of Switzerland.
Mahant Manjit Singh Ji is being invited by Sikh Sangat of America, Canada, England and other countries, but due their busy schedule such invitations could not be accepted, as yet.
But it first time that they have accepted the invitation of the Sikh Sangat of Switzerland. The people of the state and India in general and Sikh Community in particular feels proud on their religious tour to Switzerland. At the airport, they were given warm send-off. |
