JAMMU, Sept 26: Two NCC cadets of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Cadet Danish Anthal and Cadet Navya Dhiman, have been selected to represent SMVDU and the JK&L NCC Directorate at a Drone Competition to be held in Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu. The cadets were selected during a Drone Training Camp conducted at Zorawar Training Academy (ZTA), Udhampur, by the Air Squadron NCC. The competition will assess cadets on various aspects of drone technology, including drone assembly and flying, technical knowledge, innovative ideas, resourcefulness, operational proficiency, and safety practices. On their selection, Lieut. (Dr.) Varun Dutta, NCC Coordinator, SMVDU, and Dr. Yati Aggarwal, I/c Air NCC, congratulated the cadets and highlighted that such competitions provide valuable exposure, enhance technical and innovative skills, and encourage cadets to explore emerging technologies. Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, and Ajay Kumar Sharma, Registrar, SMVDU, conveyed their best wishes to Cadet Danish Anthal and Cadet Navya Dhiman and wished them success in the competition. |
