POONCH, Sept 26: Army Goodwill School, Potha celebrated its Annual Day with great fervour and enthusiasm on 25 September 2026. The event commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Mr Biju MD, who highlighted the institution's achievements in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. A motivational talk was delivered by the Officer Patron, AGS Potha for the students and parents. He appreciated the school's efforts in imparting quality education and encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence.
The students presented a vibrant series of cultural dances, songs and a captivating drama with each performance reflecting the values of unity, patriotism and cultural harmony. During the award distribution ceremony, the Chief Guest felicitated students who had excelled in academics and extracurricular activities.
The event concluded on a highly positive note, leaving the students and parents with a sense of pride and motivation, while further strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the local community. The event was attended by 510 students, 22 teaching and non-teaching staff members and 182 parents. |
