HIRANAGAR, Sept 26: The College Canteen of Govt. GLDM Degree College, Hiranagar, named "Lokn dh Class", was formally inaugurated by Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College, in the presence of faculty members and staff.
The canteen shall be operated by Krishna Women Self Help Group, Pathwal, providing an opportunity for women members of the Self Help Group to contribute to the local institutional economy. The facility aims to provide students and staff with affordable, nutritious and quality food on campus.
Keeping in view the importance of healthy eating habits among students, "Lokn dh Class" will offer healthy food options prepared from ragi flour (ragi atta), encouraging students to make nutritious dietary choices.
Dr. Pragya Khanna, worthy Principal of the college congratulated the College Canteen Committee for taking this initiative and urged students to make optimal and responsible use of the facility. She also emphasized the importance of responsible consumption, avoiding food wastage and maintaining a clean campus environment. |
