| Surinder demands drinking water in Kandi areas | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, June 21- District President Peoples Democratic Party S. Surinder Singh has urged the Government to immediately arrest the culprits of rape and murder of two innocent women in Shopian besides withdrawing AFSPA. Addressing party workers here today he also urged the Government to immediately provide drinking water in kandi areas of Kathua where people were facing acute water crises. He also demanded to relief to farmers whose crops were damaged due to inadequate rains. He urged the party workers to spread the PDP massage of peace and harmony and propagate the party’s program and policies of self rule and strengthen the hands of Mufti Sayed and party president Mehbooba Mufti who, he said, were the only hope of the people of the state.
