| Govt. blocks Bhim’s entry to shopian | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, June 21- The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Chief Prof Bhim Singh has strongly condemned the authoritarian attitude of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah by not allowing him and his party leaders to visit Shopian. In a statement he said that the Kashmir administration today ordered to stop the Shopian entry of Panthers party Chairman Prof. Bhim Singh who along with Party’s senior leaders were to visit the victims ( Nelofer and Aysia ) family to express condolences. He said the orders were issued to restrict the movement of Panthers Party leaders up to skirts of Srinagar District. Right from morning Prof. Bhim Singh along with Syed Rafiq Shah MLC, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Manzoor Ahmed Naik KS. Vedi, H S. Jamwal Mehboob Ellahi and other had to remain confined on the road side for three hours, when they were finally told by the police to retreat. Condemning the highhandedness of the state administration, Prof Singh said that the CM wants to keep the lid on the truth hidden behind the Shopian tragedy. In the meantime the JKNPP Chief in a communication to the PM has demanded replacement of the present Government by a short spell of Governor’s rule as there is no governance which is evident from the situation in Shopian. He expressed sympathy with the family of the victims and suffering people of the Shopian who have been demanding "Justice" and action against the culprits.
