MANDI GOBINDGARH, Oct 3: Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Mandi Gobindgarh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EH1 Infotech Cybersecurity Private Limited to strengthen industry-academia collaboration in cybersecurity awareness, industry interaction, advisory support and knowledge exchange.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University and Dr. Sahil Baghla, Director & Founder, EH1 Infotech Cybersecurity, represented the organisation at the signing ceremony.
Dr. Khushboo Bansal, Deputy Director, Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Computing was also present on the occasion.
Under the partnership, EH1 InfoTech Cyber security will serve as an External Cyber security Advisor and Industry Knowledge Partner. The collaboration will facilitate cyber security awareness sessions, industry interaction programmes, advisory-led workshops, case-based discussions, leadership sessions on digital risk, career guidance and knowledge initiatives for students and faculty.
The partnership is aimed at providing students with greater exposure to real-world cyber security practices, emerging digital risks, responsible digital behaviour and industry perspectives.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Harsh Sadawarti highlighted the importance of strengthening industry-academia linkages and providing students with practical exposure to emerging cyber security challenges.
Dr. Sahil Baghla said the collaboration would provide a platform for meaningful knowledge exchange and greater awareness of real-world cyber security challenges among students and faculty. |
