PHE employees demands equal wages for daily wagers

Jammu, June 21: The officers of PHE department are violating the govt order in transferring class IV employees from one district to another, said PHE employees leader in a press conference here today.
Addressing media persons Vijay Luthara along with Pranav Shagotan said that employees association was decide that all designation and if water supplies fail at any stage the concerned authority will be responsible for the consequences. He said newly posted employees will not be in a position to do justice with the job and will take time to run the system properly. He said at number of times have to work in double shifts, done purely in the interest of public.
He said discrimination still continue with Jammu regions as compare to Kashmir region, were employees is paid Rs 2100/- per month and in Jammu it Rs 500per month. He said wages are not paid monthly but are released after 12 to 18 months. They demanded that steps be taken to solve all genuine problems of the employees once for all.
