Special Yoga, Meditation & Hanuman Chalisa programme held

JAMMU, Oct 6: A special Yoga and Meditation Programme was organised today at Vishwa Yog Sansthaan (World Yog Institute), Har Ki Pauri, Bagh-e-Bahu, Jammu, with Yoga, Meditation, Hanuman Chalisa and devotional prayers.
Speaking on the occasion, Yog Guru Acharya Dr. Karan, Chairman, Vishwa Yog Sansthaan, said that the organisation is a non-profit institution working in India and abroad with the mission of taking Yoga and Nature to every home, promoting a healthy and drug-free society and serving people from children to senior citizens.
The Institute conducts regular Yoga classes from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Special Yoga-based wellness sessions are conducted to support people dealing with lifestyle and health concerns such as diabetes, heart, liver and kidney-related conditions, cancer, prostate issues, psoriasis and other health challenges, under appropriate guidance. A special ladies' Yoga class is also conducted from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. People interested in joining the programmes may contact Vishwa Yog Sansthaan at the Har Ki Pauri, Bagh-e-Bahu centre.
He appealed to the people of Jammu to join the Yoga movement, saying, "If we are healthy, we can achieve everything in life."
Felicitation
Retired Chief Justice O. P. Sharma was felicitated by Yog Guru Acharya Dr. Karan and Vanshilal Gupta with a portrait of Lord Hanuman. Raj Kapoor, known for his social service in Jammu & Kashmir, particularly in hilly and remote areas, was also felicitated for his contribution to society.
Vanshilal Gupta shared that Yoga has brought a positive transformation in his life and appealed to the people of Jammu to make Yoga a part of their daily routine.
The programme was attended by Shyam Lal Kalsi, Sunny, Subhash Chandra, Suresh Sharma, Suresh Gupta, Kullar, Ashok, Nikhil Gupta, Rakesh Sawany along with members of the Matri Shakti and other associates of Vishwa Yog Sansthaan.
The programme concluded with collective prayers and Hanuman Ji's worship, reaffirming the commitment towards a healthy, drug-free, clean, green and harmonious society through Yoga, Nature and community service.
