| Restrictions imposed around Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir Langerial | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, JUNE 22 : In order to prevent the annoyance to the general public and disturbance of public tranquility, Additional District Magistrate, Kathua in exercise of powers vested upon him under section 144 Cr.P.C. has ordered that 200 meters area around Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir Langerial (Dayala Chak) Hiranagar will be dry area and drinking of alcohol (except in the bar room of Tourist Dak Banglow, Dayala Chak, eating meat, use of tobacco and narcotic drugs etc. performing of funeral rites except in cremation groun) is totally prohibited. Parking of the vehicles on Mandir side or in its way is also prohibited. Any body violating the order shall be prosecuted under Section 188 of the Ranbir Penal Code.
This order shall remain in force for a period of two months.
