SRINAGAR, June 22: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) could not start the three-day inter-divisional under-17 football tournament due to certain reasons, here today.
Scheduled to begin today, the inter-division `best of three’ tournament between Jammu and Kashmir divisions, shall now take place tomorrow.
According to the reliable sources, the match was shifted for tomorrow because the team from Kashmir was short of a couple of players.
To seek the official version, Deputy Director (Kashmir), Gulshan Ara and Deputy Director (Activity), S S Bali could not be contacted.
