| HC stays selection Rehber- e-Taleem teachers | | |

Jammu, June 23: Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice JP Singh today stayed the selection of Naresh Kumar and Anju Bala as Rehber-e-Taleem teacher and issued notice to state of J&K through Chief Secretary.
This Court order has been passed in a petition filed by Trishna Devi belonging to SC category.
The petitioner submitted that she having possessing 10+2 qualification with Math subject had applied with the Zonal Education Officer Ramgrah in pursuance to the advertisement notice dated February 5, 2009 for engagement as ReT in school UPC Kalah. Despite fulfilling the eligibility criteria she was not selected. The petition filed through Advocate Surinder Kour challenged the selection of private respondents on the ground that they were less meritorious than the petitioner and sought quashment of the selection of the private respondents.
