KUPWARA, Oct 25: The Foundation Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT-1), under the ULLAS-Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram, was conducted successfully today across 301 Samajik Chetna Kendras in 13 educational zones of District Kupwara, with 16,447 non-literate learners appearing for the assessment.
Comprehensive arrangements were put in place by school heads and the Education Department to ensure the smooth, transparent and orderly conduct of the assessment.
The successful conduct of the assessment involved the coordinated efforts of 1,836 Volunteer Teachers, 301 Superintendents, 302 Supervisors, 13 Zonal Coordinators and 104 Cluster Nodal Persons. Teams from the Chief Education Officer's Office, Samagra Shiksha, zonal offices and district-level units remained actively engaged in monitoring and coordination throughout the process.
