| Mini-Secretariat turns into a cattle farm | | |

Kathua, June 23- Mini Secretariat at the district headquarters is presenting a shabby look due to the mismanagement of the district administration.
The secretariat which houses a dozen of government offices like, Revenue, Social Welfare, Youth Services and Sports, Food and Supplies, Education has been turned into a cattle farm with animals and street dogs roaming unhindered. The senseless parking and presence of heaps of refuse in the premises has added to further miseries of the visitors thronging the offices located in the complex.
Ironically no one from the district administration is ever bothered to make the complex look like government offices. District Development Board is providing funds in lakhs to every department for development purpose but they are not even spending a single pie for the development of the premises.
Talking to ET correspondent, social worker Updesh Andotra said that non availability of parking place in the secretariat is creating great inconvenience to the visitors visiting the premises to get their cases settled. He demanded proper parking lots besides maintaining cleanliness in and around the secretariat complex.
