| Play on drug abused staged | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 23: The narcotics control bureau, Jammu zonal unit, in collaboration with Nav Durga Kala manch, stages a Hindi play “Kaun Rondhega Nashe Ko” in connection with week long celebration against drug abuse and illicit trafficking at public park, opposite bloom public high school, Gandhi Nagar here today. On the occasion children successfully conveyed the message against drug abuse through their gestures, body language and dialogue deliveries thereby creating impact in the minds of audience that their inner voice forces them to shun drugs. The play starts with the kids struggling to get rid of the menace of the drugs, but they can’t over come the ill effects of the drugs so they appealed to their respective parents and elders to help them but all in vain. The play was written by Shashi Bhushan and directed by Aditya Bhanu. The zonal director of narcotics control bureau, M.K. Sharma in his address said that the same play along with other cultural items, debates, displaying of placards etc will be staged at Abhinav Theatre, on 26th June and appealed the public to be present on that day so that the awareness against drug abuse and illicit trafficking can be raised at large scale.
