| Several join BBP | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 23: Due to price hike of essential commodities, the life of common persons especially people livening below poverty line have gone from bad to worst, said Bhartiya Bhaujan party (BBP) coordinator Kanchan Sharma at a press conference held here today. She urged upon the state, chief minister Omar Abdullah that the concerned authorities are directed to keep vigilant against those who violate price norms and he punished under law. She also urged upon the CM to induct women into the cabinet at the time of cabinet expansion, especially from Jammu region. On the occasion a large number of people joined the party. Welcoming them in the party BBP vice president, Sardari Lal Bhagat stressed upon them to work unitedly for the downtrodden section of the society. He said BBP is committed for the upliftment of poor and dalits as they are being neglected always. On the occasion Satpal Bhagat urged upon the workers to reach out to every nook and corner of the state. Those who joined the party include Mohinder Singh, Parvinder Singh, Kanwal Jeet Singh, Ramnik Singh, Davinder Singh, Rinka Singh, Ranbir Singh, Ashok Kumar, Polli Devi and others.
