Meanwhile, the PDP and the Panthers Party have blamed the NC-Congress coalition Government for having made a "mockery" of the legislative business in Jammu and Kashmir. The vice-president of the Panthers Party, Harsh Dev Singh, and vice-president of the PDP, Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari, today said despite the fact state government had decided to convene the budget session from July 27 but so far neither any legislator has been officially been informed about it nor the legislators had been told, in writing, that they should submit questions, bills and resolutions to the Assembly and council secretariats. JKNPP leader Harsh Dev said that under rules each legislator had to submit five starred and five unstirred questions. ‘This simply implies that we have to spent a lot of time in preparing questions, bills and resolutions, he added. He said "more than 1400 questions will be received by the Assembly secretariat and those are to be sent to different Government departments for securing replies and the entire process was time consuming. Meanwhile PDP Leader Molvi Ansari said it seems the Government is not serious about debates and discussions in the House and had it been we should have received the intimation for the submission of bills, resolutions and questions. PDP MLA Ansari accused the ruling coalition of confusion on every front.
