Machine gun pistol among cache recovered in Rajouri
Militants gun down four civilians, CRPF jawan, SPO injured

JAMMU SEPT-25-Four civilians, including a woman, were killed by some unidentified militants at two different places, a civilian, SPO and CRPF jawan sustained injuries in IED and grenade blasts, while Security Forces busted a hideout in Rajouri area and recovered some ammunition from there.
A police spokesman said that Jana Begum wife of late Dullah Gujjar and Abdul Hamid son of Mohammed Ibrahim Dang both residents of Janwari Sumber in Mahor area of Udhamur district were killed by militants in the village.
The reports said that some unidentified terrorists came to the house of Jana Begum and killed her along with Abdul Hamid on the spot and fled away after committing the crime. Police is investigating the case.
The spokesman said that one civilian identified as Mohammed Ashraf resident of Kukras was killed by unidentified persons at Drad 14 Km South West of Doda district. The reports said that some unidentified persons took the deceased along with two cousins to the nearby forests. While the cousins were sent for water and on their return they found the body of Ashraf cut into pieces and militants missing from the spot.
Immediately after the receipt of the information, a column of RR launched a search operation in the general area to apprehend the accused and the operation was continuing when the reports last came in.
In the meantime, another civilian was shot dead by some ultras at Wanipura 10 Km North East of Doda district. Identified as Mohammed Rafiq Wani resident of Wanipura was an employee of the State Health Department and listed as an OGW, the spokesman said adding that further details were being ascertained.
The reports also said that some unidentified persons lobbed a grenade at CRPF post at Gudali chowk in Kishtwar town resulting into minor splinter injuries to constable Chetan Sharma on the chest. He was shifted to Hospital at Kishtwar and his condition is reportedly stable. SPO Subash and one civilian Hans Raj sustained superficial splinter injuries when an IED went off on the side of a foot track near village Gangal in Bhaderwah area of Doda district.
The spokesman further said that 43 RR and Police launched a joint operation in general area of Urdalvvali Shadhra Sharief in Thanamadi area of Rajouri district and busted a militants’ hideout. During search the forces recovered one 30 AA sub machine gun pistol along with machine gun, one Pak made 20 M Pistol, three pistol magazines, four hand grenades 61 AK rounds, 7.65 mm auto machine pistol with a magazine. The operation is reported to have terminated in the afternoon today.
