| Hakeem Yaseen may get cabinet berth | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar: PDF chief Hakim Mohammad Yasin today shared platform with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah after over two decades, triggering speculation that he might be inducted in the state cabinet, likely to be expanded in a few days. Yasin, along with 12 other NC MLAs, had parted ways with the National Conference 25 years ago which led to the toppling of the Farooq Abdullah government in 1984. Peoples Democratic Front president addressed a rally jointly with Abdullah at Arizal-Khansahib in Budgam district after inauguration of a bridge over Sukhnag. In his address, Abdullah lauded the role of Yasin, the local MLA from Khansahib, for launching various development schemes and expressed hope that he would continue to play an important role in the overall development of the state.
