| HC stays selection of ReT Teachers for new Primary School | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 27- Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice JP Singh today stayed the finalization of selection of Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers for new Primary School Shahmuch Tehsil of Ramban till next date of hearing.
This direction was passed in a petition filed by Nitu Singh & Ors through Advocate Koushal Parihar challenging the selection of ReT teachers for new primary school Shahmuch on various grounds including that the advertisement issued by CEO Ramban itself is bad for the reason that the applications have been sought from the Panchyats instead of village wise which is contrary to the norms and rules governing the appointment of ReT Teacher under SSA. The entrainment of application forms of other candidates, who are not the resident of the village where the school is situated, is also contrary to the scheme and also to the law which has been settled by J&K High Court by various judgments and prayer before the Court for quashment of advertisement dated February 28, 2009.
